*Ka Pow!*

For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

So, I’ve probably bragged on this enough already, but I’m basically just real real real really excited. I declared my major today! I’m a double major in International Development and Spanish, and also have a minor in missions. Most of you are probably like, what’s the big deal? (Indulge me for a second, here. It’s my blog after all ;)) For me, I love reflecting on the things God has done and a lot of the lessons He has been trying to teach me have been related to the struggle every college student faces, “what do I do for the rest of my life?!” The fact that I’ve come to a point where I can declare and feel peace about it, is a testament to His faithfulness, goodness and provision.

The ways that God watches our path and numbers our steps is truly amazing. Whether it’s the small things, like having a certain conversation, or making some kind of big life choice, my mind is always blown when I think I have things down a certain way and then *ka pow!* God is like, I know you really well, and this is gonna be awesome, so let me take over. Man. So good. So so good.

Watching Him use the people around me is a blessing as well. I’m so privileged to get to know and learn from the people I call my friends who are gonna do great things for the God we serve.

So be encouraged. Our God is living and active and working in the lives of His people. And He is immeasurably more than anything we can hope or imagine…and He is doing immeasurably more than we can ever even guess.

Also, I really hope that it was the fact that this blog is titled “Ka Pow” that you wanted to click on this. 😉

Happy Monday 🙂
